Outdoor lighting in Mt. Juliet is a different job than it is across the bridge in Nashville. The subdivisions stretching east of Mt. Juliet Road and the lakefront streets above Old Hickory Lake share two traits that change every install we run: tightly packed Wilson County clay that sits saturated for days after a storm, and constant south-shore humidity that destroys aluminum stems and ungasketed connectors within a couple of summers. We treat the property as one composition — facade, trees, paths, hardscape, and entertaining areas — then design the entire run around fixtures and connectors built for what the soil and lake air actually do here.
Most of our work in town is on homes less than ten years old in subdivisions near Providence Marketplace, Charlie Daniels Park, and the Curd Road corridor. That means builder-grade wiring at the back porch that needs supplementing, raw young landscaping that will fill in over five years, and HOA architectural reviews that want one consistent brass aesthetic across every visible fixture. Our outdoor lighting systems are scoped for all three on day one.
Also serving the rest of Wilson County.

A whole-property outdoor lighting system in Mt. Juliet has to handle three things builders rarely do: clay-bound drainage, south-shore humidity off Old Hickory Lake, and HOA architectural review. We trench shallower than typical Nashville installs and backfill with gravel so the cable runs drain, spec marine-grade solid brass throughout the facade and landscape zones, and use hub-based wiring rather than splice-and-bury so every fixture is serviceable a decade out. On most newer Saundersville Road and Lebanon Road builds, we also pull a dedicated transformer circuit because the single porch GFCI the builder roughed in cannot carry a full-property load. The fixture style sheet is packaged for your HOA before we set a date.
We assess your full property — facade, trees, hardscape, paths, entertaining areas — and build a comprehensive lighting plan tailored to your architecture and goals.
You receive a detailed proposal with zone-by-zone fixture specs and installation scope. Many projects include a nighttime preview showing your property after the system is installed.
Our crew arrives with all materials and installs the complete system in a single day — from facade to driveway to entertaining area. No return trips, no disruption.
We return at dusk, walk every zone with you, and fine-tune angles, brightness, and timing until every light performs exactly as designed.
"Eric and crew did a great job. I couldn't ask for a more professional company. Excellent communication, great technical work… Having anybody else do your professional lighting would be a mistake. 10/10!"
"Eric and his team are great to work with. Our pool lighting and sound is excellent. They also did our uplighting for our trees in the front and back yard. No hesitation in recommending the team from Music City Outdoor Lighting."
